Obliteration is a new multiplayer game mode set to appear in Battlefield 4. It was officially revealed at Gamescom 2013. The gametype was added to the Battlefield 4 open beta on October 9th, 2013.
Gameplay
Each team holds three M-COM stations, and is tasked with defending them while trying to destroy the other team's targets using a bomb that is found throughout the map's capture area. However, there is only one bomb active at any given time, which forces both teams to fight for control over it. Furthermore, the bomb spawns in random locations, requiring quick reactions and territory control in order to secure the bomb.
Victory is achieved by destroying all three of the enemy's M-COM stations, or by having the highest team score when the round timer expires.
