The Omega Beamer is a light machine gun featured in Battlefield Heroes for the Royal Army. It's counterpart, the Eraser Ray is statistically idential and is available for the National Army. Both weapons were introduced to coincide with the release of Lunar Landing. Unlike other light machine guns, both weapons have the ability to produce a short beam of energy which inflicts a massive amount of damage at short ranges.
