Battlefiled 2042[]

"A compact and capable weapon system firing 5.7x28mm armor-piercing rounds, it has three forward rails for a wide array of attachments. Comes with a 50 round magazine."

— In-game description

As of Master of Arms season, the P90 is now available for the base version of Battlefield 2042.

The performance of the p90 is similar with Mp9. As both guns posses a 30 meter 5 hit kill range with a similar 900 RPM. This killing power while similar to some of the assault rifles, It has a much faster sprint out time which when combined with its extremely good hipfire, Allows it to come out on top in close quarter fights.

The p90 uniquely possesses a standard mag size of 50 rounds. This may not be increased or decreased but to its own advantage it has an extremely fast reload speed versus other submachine guns with similar mag sizes. Additionally its above average reserve ammunition, Even for submachine guns with similar mag sizes makes it an extremely favorable all kit weapon.

As mentioned earlier. Due to its bullpup frame, The p90 has extremely good hipfire, Combined with its accumulative hipfire spread and laser sight. Pushes the p90 out as a standout gun in a class full of submachines with already good hipfire accuracy.

it's biggest weakness however is its under average Aim down sight accuracy. Fights beyond 30 meters require controlled bursts. Which when combined with its low damage per bullet and velocity makes it unsuited for ranged engsgements. Guns like aforementioned Mp9 do much better at a range due to its wide array of attachments. Smoke should be used to close to gap to maximise the P90's potential.

The p90 also has a very limited selection of attachments, Being only limited to 6 Muzzles, 8 suitable close combat sights, two under barrels (A flashlight and a laser) means that it cannot be modified so significantly beyond its amazing hipfire.

One will also need to acknowledge that the p90's description is false. Standard rounds do not inherit the capabilities of armour piercing rounds.
