The P90 is a weapon featured in Battlefield 2042, as part of the Master of Arms Season.

The performance of the P90 reflects similarly to that of Battlefield 2 and is similar with the MP9, as both guns posses a 30m 5-hit kill range with 900 RPM. This killing power matches that some assault rifles, along a much faster sprint out time and extremely good hipfire, allows it to come out top in CQC Fights and indoors. It's fire rate and compact frame allows it to put out a lot of hip fire accurate within that range.
The P90 possesses its unique magazine size of 50 rounds which may or may not be increased or decreased. Regardless, the reload speed makes it quickly to exchange between fights, compared to similar weapons of its class. Additionally its above average reserve ammunition, makes it quite favourable as a universally accepted weapon for all classes.
it's biggest weakness however is limited effectiveness beyond range. Fights beyond 30m require more controlled bursts; Combined with it's DPS and velocity makes it unsuited for open outdoor engagements. Though these hardships can be mitigated somewhat with available attachments to help compensate the P90's performance in those areas. Otherwise the P90 is best used when driving vehicles or in close combat where the P90 can be used to its full potential.
The P90 also has a limited selection of attachments: 6 Muzzles, 8 suitable close combat Sights, two under barrels (A flashlight and a laser). Though they can be used to somewhat improve the P90's limitations when the situation demands them.
