The PTKM-1R is a Russian anti-vehicle landmine that uses a top-attack system on an acoustic fuse to locate and launch a warhead to the often unarmoured top of a vehicle at a range. The PTKM-1R was first publicly announced by its manufacturer in 2021, though it is believed to have been in service since 2020. It was first displayed outside of Russia in 2022, and has been deployed in the Russo-Ukranian War.

Using sensors, the apparatus will calculate the distance of a vehicle within 100 meters. Once it reaches within 50 meters, but not closer than 5 meters, the warhead will launch at the target. When the warhead is launched, it uses infrared and radar sensors to detect the vehicle below, at which point it will detonate, striking the target from above where the armour is usually thinner.
