The Patrol Boat Light is s vehicle featured in Battlefield: Bad Company.

Singleplayer[]

The PBL is available to the player during Acta Non Verba when assaulting the Russian fuel depots, to get to objectives at the beginning of Par for the Course and during Crash and Grab. It is also extensively used by the Serdaristani armed forces during Air Force One and is partially used by the Legionnaire Mercenaries during the final part of Ghost Town.

Multiplayer[]

The Patrol Boat Light is a maneuverable watercraft armed with two shielded XM307's located in the front and back of the boat. The boat can fit up to four soldiers, which means a whole squad can be transported and inserted into enemy territory. The PBL is largely impractical as an attacking vehicle, as most players within the vehicle are very exposed, but its grenade launchers are very effective against infantry, and can be used to ambush enemy players, or guard Gold Crate charges.

Trivia[]

  • In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, if the player in the driver's seat were to press the button to see what is behind the boat, the camera view would not do that but instead move closer to the player's back in third-person view.
