The Player Card is a feature of Battlefield 2042. Player Cards display a player's username, level, title, background, and up to three badges. Player Cards are displayed for each member of a squad at the start of a match as well as the end of round screen. Enemy Player Cards can be seen through the killcam upon death.[1]
Badges are awards obtained by completing various tasks with Specialists, weapons, vehicles, and gear. Each badge features a total of five tiers, with tasks becoming increasingly difficult with each tier. Obtaining badge tiers will also unlock special cosmetics for use in-game. A total of three badges may be displayed on a Player Card. The game currently features 66 Badges.

Player Card images are unlocked by completing various tasks with Specialists, weapons, vehicles, gear, or other miscellaneous tasks. Once unlocked, images also reveal a small transcript that give more insight into the topic of the image. The game currently features 72 Player Card Images.
Tags are special titles and icons obtained by completing various tasks within combat, team play, maps, gamemodes, etc. Tags are displayed at the top of the Player Card as well as the player's Dog Tags. The number dog tags taken from other players with melee kills will be displayed beside that specific tag in the Player Card menu. The game currently features 45 Tags.
