Recoil Direction is a special weapon customization option (an "Attachment") in Battlefield 1, which changes the direction of the recoil pattern.

Applying different Recoil Direction attachments attaches different muzzle attachments to the weapon. These differ by weapon type, and include Muzzle Brakes, Compensators, and Flash Hiders.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Different types of barrel attachments were found in the game files during earlier game builds. It is unknown if they were to affect the weapons in ways similar to past Battlefield games or function identically as the in-game Recoil Direction modification.[2]
