The Recon class is featured in Battlefield 2042. In the base game, Casper, Paik, Rao and Blasco are classified as Recon Specialists. In the Battlefield Portal, the Recon class is featured in the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 collections. Within each collection, the class features updated character models and function in a similar manner to their original counterparts.

The Recon is one of the four classes featured in the base game of Battlefield 2042. It consists of Casper, Paik, Rao and Blasco. Their weapon proficiency allows quicker scope steady when using sniper rifles and faster deploy and undeploy time for sidearms.

Recons detect enemy forces by spotting them through a variety of gadgets like the Prox Sensor, SOFLAM, T-UGS and the Tracer Dart Gun, as well as using C5 or M18 Claymore for protection. They also carry Insertion Beacon to allow rapid deployment.


Battlefield Portal[]

Battlefield: Bad Company 2[]


The Recon is available within the Bad Company 2 collection. It features character models for the United States and Russia. Functioning in a similar manner to its original counterpart, the Recon has access to the Motion Sensor to help spotting enemies for teammates, with Mortar Strike and C4 available for those who seeking for explosive against opponents.

The Recon has access to sniper rifles as well as several shared weapons and permanently equipped the Sniper Spotting Scope Specializations to strengthen their role.


Battlefield 3[]


The Recon is available within the Battlefield 3 collection. It features character models for the United States and Russia. Functioning in a similar manner to its original counterpart, the Recon has access to the T-UGS, MAV, SOFLAM for spotting enemies and Radio Beacon to help teammates for quicker redeploy. For the weapons, they have access to sniper rifles as well as several shared weapons.

The Recon also permanently equipped with AMMO Specialization which double the amount of ammunitions on both primary weapons and sidearsm.
