The SCAR-H (SOF Combat Assault Rifle-Heavy), also designated Mk 17 Mod 0, is a modular Battle Rifle made by FN Herstal. As a variant of the SCAR weapon system alongside the SCAR-L, the SCAR-H differs from the SCAR-L in that it is classified as an adaptive battle rifle rather than an assault rifle, and utilizes a smaller, 20-round box magazine over the lighter version's 30 round STANAG, as well as the larger 7.62×51mm cartridge, and longer barrel.

The SCAR-H appears in five entries in the Battlefield series, variously classified as a Carbine, Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, and Designated Marksman Rifle between games. The first generation model with a CQB barrel appears in Battlefield 2: Special Forces, Battlefield 3, while a third generation SCAR-H with a full-length barrel appears in Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Battlefield Portal. A third generation SCAR-H LB (Long Barrel) also appears in Battlefield 4 as a Designated Marksman Rifle named the SCAR-H SV. A futuristic variant of SCAR-H using an EGLM grenade launcher appears in Battlefield 2042.
