Battlefield: Bad Company

Context

Serdaristan is small country that shares borders with the Russian Federation. It also has access to the Caspian Sea. It is controlled by a dictator known as Zavimirt Serdar. Most of the citizens of Serdaristan speak Serdish and the country has good diplomatic relations with Russia, but it remained neutral in the Russo-American conflict, although in reality they were secretly working for both sides.

Military

The Military of Sedaristan is notably poorly trained and cowardly. However, they have large amounts of heavy armor, as well as other advanced weapon systems. Soldiers of the Sedaristan Military use and wear similar equipment to soldiers of the Russian Military. The Sedaristan Military also uses Russian equipment and armor, making no difference between the Sedaristan Military and the Russian Military to players.

Story

Sedaristan remained neutral in the conflict until Haggard single-handedly invaded it and the squad wrecked havoc in the country, until they were captured by the U.S. Army. Soon thereafter, it was declared hostile when it's military shot down a American UH-60 Black Hawk. The President of Sedaristan was then kidnapped by Bad Company and escaped in a 'pimped out' Mil Mi-24 Hind. Soon, the country was taken over by the Legionaire and the President was exiled to a small island in the Caspian Sea.

Trivia

  • President Serdar claims that Serdaristan was the first country to ever have the 'power' of the Internet.
  • Although being Serdaristani troops, Sweetwater, Haggard and Redford still call them Russians.
  • Serdaristan is most likely named after its leader, President Serdar, or one of his ancestors.
  • Serdaristan is mentioned in a news article in Mirror's Edge. It is most likely an Easter Egg put in by DICE as they developed both Battlefield: Bad Company and Mirror's Edge.
  • Though they are property of Serdaristan, all vehicles and uniforms of the Serdaristani Army have Russian flags on them.
  • Though there is never a flag of Serdaristan explicitly displayed, Zavimir Serdar's golden Mil Mi-24 Hind has a small flag-like symbol of a black Kalashnikov crossed with a black shovel over a yellow star with a red background and a white and blue stripe at the bottom. This may be the flag of Serdaristan.
