Kit Shortcuts are a series of unlock bundles available for purchase in the Battlefield series.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2[edit | edit source]

Each Kit Shortcut allows a player to unlock every weapon and specialization in a class, while an unlock bundle allows the player to unlock every weapon, specialization and vehicle specialization.

  • Kit Shortcut Bundle: Unlocks all kit-specific items across all four kits.
  • Assault Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Assault weapons and gadgets
  • Engineer Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Engineer weapons and gadgets
  • Medic Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Medic weapons and gadgets
  • Recon Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Recon weapons and gadgets


Battlefield 3[edit | edit source]

On March 30, 2012, along with the 1.04 update, DICE released 10 shortcut packs for weapons and vehicles. They unlock all: weapons, attachments, gadgets, and vehicle perks.

  • Kit Shortcut Bundle: Immediately unlocks all items unique to the four playable classes; Assault, Recon, Support and Engineer
  • Assault Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Assault weapons and gadgets
  • Engineer Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Engineer weapons and gadgets
  • Support Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Support weapons and gadgets
  • Recon Kit Shortcut: Unlocks all Recon weapons and gadgets
  • Vehicle Shortcut Bundle: Immediately unlocks all items for all vehicles
  • Air Vehicle Shortcut: Unlocks all Air vehicle items
  • Ground Vehicle Shortcut: Unlocks all Ground vehicle items
  • CO-OP Shortcut: Unlocks all CO-OP weapons and their attachments
  • The Ultimate Bundle: Immediately unlocks all items from all other available shortcut packs

Battlefield 4[edit | edit source]

Kit Shortcuts were first made available for a limited time in February 2014. Four shortcuts were released for free with two exclusive to Premium members. More shortcuts were later made available for purchase.

  • Assault Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Assault kit available
  • Engineer Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Engineer kit available
  • Support Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Support kit available
  • Recon Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Recon kit available
  • Carbine Shortcut: Unlocks all carbines
  • Handgun Shortcut: Unlocks all handguns
  • Designated Marksman Rifle Shortcut: Unlocks all DMRs
  • Shotgun Shortcut: Unlocks all shotguns
  • Grenade Shortcut: Unlocks all grenades
  • Soldier Shortcut: Makes all class specific unlocks available
  • Weapon Shortcut: Unlocks all weapons
  • Ultimate Shortcut: Makes all weapons and class unlocks available
  • Air Vehicle Shortcut Kit: Makes vehicle unlocks for all air vehicles available
  • Ground and Sea Vehicle Shortcut: Makes vehicle unlocks for all ground and sea vehicles available
  • Vehicle Shortcut: Makes all vehicle unlocks available

Battlefield Hardline[edit | edit source]

Kit Shortcuts were first made available in Battlefield Hardline in the 1.02 patch on April 28, 2015. They function in the exact same manner as in past installments.

  • Operator Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Operator kit available
  • Mechanic Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Mechanic kit available
  • Enforcer Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Enforcer kit available
  • Professional Shortcut: Makes all available unlocks for the Professional kit available
  • Gear Shortcut: Makes all progression grenades, gadgets, and secondary weapons that are not specific to any class available
  • Player Shortcut: Makes all progression weapons and gadgets for every class available
  • Vehicle Shortcut: Makes all vehicle weapons, optics, countermeasures, and upgrades available
  • Ultimate Shortcut: Makes all progression weapons, gadgets, and upgrades for every class and vehicle available

Battlefield 1[edit | edit source]

Kit shortcuts were first made available to Battlefield 1 on December 20, 2016.

  • Assault Bundle - Unlocks all primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Assault kit.
  • Medic Bundle - Unlocks all primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Medic kit.
  • Support Bundle - Unlocks all primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Support kit.
  • Scout Bundle - Unlocks all primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Scout kit.
  • Infantry Bundle - Unlocks all primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for all kits.
  • Ultimate Bundle - Contains all previous bundles.

Battlefield V[edit | edit source]

Shortcut kits were introduced to Battlefield V on May 26, 2020 through The Armory. Shortcuts are not available for purchase if a player has already reach rank 20 in a class. Each kits costs 1000Boins.png.

  • Assault Bundle - Unlocks all class rank primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Assault kit.
  • Medic Bundle - Unlocks all class rank primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Medic kit.
  • Support Bundle - Unlocks all class rank primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Support kit.
  • Recon Bundle - Unlocks all class rank primary and secondary weapons and gadgets for the Recon kit.
  • Ultimate Bundle - Contains all previous bundles.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Those who pre-ordered Battlefield 4 at GameStop after June 2013 obtained the Air Vehicle Shortcut for Battlefield 3 for free.
