Songhua Stalemate is a map in Battlefield 2, located beside Songhua River, Heilongjiang Province, PRC.

Overview[]

"This is a Conquest: Double assault map. You reduce opponent’s tickets by holding more than half of the control points on the map. You win by capturing all control points or by reducing the opponent’s tickets to zero."

This map is divided into west and east by a river running in the center. On all sizes, the PLA controls the west, the USMC controls the east, and the center contains two neutral control points. All sizes are Double Assault maps, and all control points are capturable.

When a Vehicle Drop is called on this map, the PLA will get a FAV while the USMC will get a DPV.

16-player version[]

In this version, both sides start with one control point that can be captured, and two neutral control points in the center.

The default number of tickets is 100 for each side.

Central Front[]

The PLA main base in the west. It hosts two artillery pieces, the UAV trailer and radar station. In addition, it spawns two stationary Type 95 LMG, a HJ-8, an IGLA, two FAV, a WZ551, two RIBs and a Z-8.

If it is captured by the USMC, it will spawn two stationary M249 LMG, a TOW, a Stinger, two DPVs, a LAV-25 and two RIBs, but no helicopter.

North Island[]

The northern neutral control point in the center. Under PLA control, it will spawn three stationary Type 95 LMG, a RIB and a FAV, while under USMC control, it will spawn three stationary M249 LMG, a RIB and a DPV.

Temple[]

The southern neutral control point in the center. Under PLA control, it will spawn four stationary Type 95 LMG, a RIB and a FAV, while under USMC control, it will spawn four stationary M249 LMG, a RIB and a DPV.

West Perimeter[]

The USMC main base in the east. It hosts two artillery pieces, the UAV trailer and radar station. In addition, it spawns two stationary M249 LMG, a TOW, a Stinger, a DPV, two LAV-25, two RIBs and a Black Hawk.

If it is captured by the PLA, it will spawn two stationary Type 95 LMG, a HJ-8, an IGLA, a FAV, two RIBs, but only one WZ551 and no helicopter.

32-player version[]

The 32-player version expands the map by moving the main bases behind even further, while both teams still retain the control points from the 16-player version.

The default number of tickets is 200 for each side.

Chinese HQ[]

The PLA main base in the far west, hosting three artillery pieces, the UAV and radar station. In addition, it spawns a stationary Type 95 LMG, three FAVs, a WZ551, a Type 98 and a Z-8. If captured by the USMC, it will spawn a stationary M249 LMG, three DPVs, a LAV-25, but no tank or helicopter.

The default number of tickets is 300 for each side.

North Island[]

The northern neutral control point. When captured by the PLA, it will spawn three stationary Type 95 LMG, a FAV, a WZ551 and a RIB. Under the USMC, it will spawn three stationary M249 LMG, a DPV, a LAV-25 and a RIB.

South Island[]

If captured by the PLA, it will spawn two stationary Type 95 LMG, a HJ-8, an IGLA, a FAV, only one WZ551 and two RIBs, but no helicopter.
