Does the scope look anything like this scope? If so, then DICE is re-using stuff. Don't get me wrong, it is a very smart idea to keep the good things (I.E. realistic scopes. You don't shove a scope into your eyesocket), but I was just wondering. YuriKaslov 01:43, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

- Well I figured the actual reticle was different; I'm almost certain that the reticles for the different snipers in MoH are all different, but this is actually a fairly large step forwards for authenticity in the Battlefield series. YuriKaslov 02:27, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
- What? The peripheral vision? My guess is that it's actually a 4X Rifle Scope, just remodeled. I'm not sure though, but that's what it looked like. SSDGFCTCT9 (Talk) 02:31, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
- We'll see. If that happens to be the default telescopic scope, then yes, it's much better than the old scopes.... Seriously... and what I mean by authenticity is that the Battlefield series has been known for stretching things. I.E, no irons on the smgs in early games, BC1 had exorbitant stretching... 50 rounds of ammo in a 30-round stanag mag? never gonna happen. Stuffs gotten better, but I don't know any snipers who wear a ghillie suit or combat medics with holy defibrillators that can bring even a man with a bullet in his head back to life. - Well, jeez, it's still a video game... BC1 was weird, but it was a hell of a lot of fun, same goes for the older ones (though they were a bit more accurate in weaponry and vehicles), but I guess going to full on accuracy would be a good thing. It did always bother me that in Battlefield 1942, freaking Russians used Lee-Enfields and Mp18s, not to mention the K98 for all the Axis forces and basically the assault weapon being the only authentic weapon of every faction.
