Tactics in BF3

These steps can help you to be more effective:

1. Stand on the nearly horizontal surface.
2. Select your position. The distance to one of the known points (flag or base) should be about 615 meters.
3. Avoid line-of-sight from the enemy.
4. Don't stay in one place for too long.
5. Don't try to control the entire map. You will be more usefull if you engage enemy on 2-3 flags.

Also, you can play as Assault artillery, but teamplay is required (caution should be taken too):

1. Go with your team on the enemy's flag.
2. Stand in 100 meters off the point.
3. DEMOLISH!!!
