Chechen Rebels[]
Since BF2: Special Forces is an expansion pack, isn't it possible that CH In the prefix of the file name refers to Chechen? There are many factors supporting this.

- It's possible. But for the time being, since the whole conflict revolves around China and the MEC, I'd err more towards China. Feel free to add something about the Chechens if you want, but until I can find some solid proof either way we shouldn't jump the gun.

Victory theme[]
"The fact that they are indeed Chechens is supported by their attire and victory theme, which is chanted in Chechen."
I believe this line should be removed from the trivia section (though when I tried to do that myself it was promptly undone. What gives?), as there are no sources or other information to support it . What specifically about their attire indicates that they are Chechen? On top of that, their victory theme is not in Chechen, it is in Russian. (Выиграли, Пей, пей, Пей до дна, Пей, пей, Выиграли, Пей, пей, пей до дна, Мы выиграли), so at least half of it is incorrect. -142.161.112.82 20:07, May 31, 2014 (UTC)
- Our resident Russian bureaucrat said it's in Chechen. I'm not familiar with the language, so if you want to discuss whether it's Chechen or not, discuss it with him.
- Beyond that, their name in the game files is "chinsurgent", which would indicate that they're Chechen as well. Юра 23:34, May 31, 2014 (UTC)
- After a second try he is indeed correct. Please forgive my errors, not perfect. ; - ; It roughly would translate to "Victory, drink, drink! Bottoms up, drink drink! Victory, drink, drink! We are victorious!" I had some trouble understanding it but now that you listed the Cyrillic, yeah. So now we have that cleared up. For the record however, they are Chechen, as it's stated in the briefings as well as the files.PSKwhirled Talk Work
