6× or 8×[]
Going purely from Battlelog details, there are two kinds of US rifle scopes:
- An 8× for sniper and battle rifles
- A 6× for assault rifles and LMGs
We'll need to confirm whether the two are actually similar or not, and how to treat the page (perhaps combined as "Rifle Scope"). Nayhem 12:58, November 13, 2011 (UTC)
I know for a fact that Shotguns support the rifle scope, although it is a 6x instead of a 8x. From what I can recall, all of the non-sniper rifle scopes are 6x. Skillzilla64 02:52, May 22, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah there's both a 6x and 8x. The 8x has more zoom (duh) and is only used on sniper rifles and DMRs/battle rifles but also takes longer to sight in, same as the 12x. The 6x has the same zoom as the PKS-07 but more viewing space and is available on all the other weapons that support it. Might be a good idea to list both as separate attachments under this page. I'll work on it tomorrow. PresidentEden78 06:31, May 22, 2012 (UTC)
They are both differrent in terms of angle of view and zoom level:
6x Rifle scope magnification is set to 517%
8x magnification is set to 680%

VisionKing?[]
The BF4 version is almost exactly a US Optics SR-6. - Unsigned comment was added by 72.193.28.8 (Contributions) at 04:46, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
- While it looks somewhat similar to the SR-6, it's actually called "visionking" in the game files, and has the word "visionking" on the scope in-game. -- A2AContact 14:25, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
Visionking trivial[]
Visionking is a Chinese scope manufacturer and it serves as an American scope while the CL6x is actually the Trijicon TA648-308. - Unsigned comment was added by KuronoX (Contributions) at 09:53, December 5, 2014
- Yeah, found out about this back when I was looking up stuff for the scopes. Maybe they got jumbled during development or something? Anyway, I'll add that to the trivia. - Apprentice125(Talk)22:19, December 5, 2014 (UTC)
