Battlefield 3 Squad Speculation?[]

Buddy Revive[]
I am confused as to why the Buddy Revive is directing to the Squad article. Anyone can revive any friendly, not just a squadmate. It is not necessary to drag them anywhere first, and it can be canceled during the revive if needed, which is not mentioned at all. Is there a general 'gameplay' article that this system can be further explained or mentioned? Pinkachu (talk) 17:49, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
- As of the Open Beta only squadmates can perform Buddy Revives on each other. The issue is that in previous titles Revives have only ever been possible using the game's one specific gadget e.g. (Defibrillator), and so the articles generally treat revives as a function of a gadget rather than a gameplay mechanic in its own right. The missing information on revive cancelling and dragging has been noted, and will be corrected.
- Other than that though, you make a good point in that BFV is introducing many unfamiliar gameplay systems that both new and legacy players will need explanations for. I'll discuss with the other contributors on how best to represent these new topics, in terms of making them visible and easy to access.
