Stub The Tank Destroyer is a vehicle class in Battlefield 3. It is a vehicle appearing in the Armored Kill expansion appearing on only those maps. As the name implies, it is meant for engaging armor. It performs like a hybrid of an IFV and MBT. The size, speed, and passenger capacity is like an IFV. They are the smallest armored vehicles while being extremely quick. They hold five people; one is on the main cannon, while the other four each get a seat with a Machine Gun. It is like an MBT due to its large caliber cannon with explosive rounds. The unlocks mainly reflect those of an MBT, but it also gets the ATGM Launcher like IFVs. It also gets its own unlock through the Explosive Danger assignment; Cannon HE is an alternate cannon with a large explosive radius.
