Marking content with appropriate tags[]

Does anybody else here think we should add small tags next to weapons that got added in a booster or expansion pack. What I mean is that "Grappling Hook" would become something like this: "Grappling Hook (SF)".

Might be a good idea. I'd help with other games and such (BF1942 and BF2142), but I'll be busy today. Go for it though. Enclave Symbol (Fallout 3).png PresidentEden78 Enclave Symbol (Fallout 3).png 13:24, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Are there any weapons exclusive to Euro Force or Armored Fury? If there are, those tags should be added too. SSDGFCTCT9(Talk) AdminRibbon.png UserMonthRibbon.png AwardRibbon.png 800px-Template Ribbon.png 18:05, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
I already did some work. I think only Euro Force added weapons, Armored Fury added vehicles. Th3 razor 18:29, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect spread increase per round[]

The Spread increase per round values stated in the individual guns incorrectly use the maximum spread that can be caused by firing the gun.

Apparently there are some misconceptions regarding the deviation mechanics. Let me explain using the L85 as an example:

ObjectTemplate.deviation.setFireDev 2.5 0.3 0.07 => For every shot, the deviation increases by 0.3 up to a maximum of 2.5. For every frame (1/30 second) after ROF^-1, the deviation decreases by 0.07. So the deviation is reduced for every frame that the gun could theoretically be fired again.
ObjectTemplate.deviation.minDev 0.3
ObjectTemplate.deviation.setTurnDev 0 0 0 0
ObjectTemplate.deviation.setSpeedDev 1 0.3 0.3 0.15 => For every frame that movement input (WASD) is given, the deviation increases by 0.3 up to a maximum of 1.0. For every frame without movement input, the deviation decreases by 0.15.
ObjectTemplate.deviation.setMiscDev 3 1.7 0.05  =>  For every frame that the jump or prone button is pressed (this does not equal actually jumping or going prone), add a deviation of 1.7 up to a maximum of 3. For every frame without pressing either button, decrease by 0.05. As prone is by default assigned as a press-and-hold action, the player is penalized with a deviation of 3 unless he presses the prone button for just 1/30 of a second, in which case he ends up with a deviation of just 1.7.
ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModStand 1.5
ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModCrouch 1.3
ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModLie 1.2
ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModZoom 0.8

The formula for the resulting deviation is: Deviation = (minDev*minDevModZoom + fireDev + speedDev + turnDev + miscDev) * devModZoom * devModStance

where devModStance takes the value of either devModStand, devModCrouch or devModLie. If the gun is not zoomed in, then devModZoom and minDevModZoom default to 1 (are ignored).
