The Burning Flag is an enemy faction featured in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat singleplayer.
History[]
The Burning Flag is a paramilitary group of unknown origin that seeks world domination. Their plan is to topple the governments of the world and create global anarchy where the leader of The Burning Flag, Commander 31, would eventually rule over.
During the Sino-NATO war over Kazakhstan, The Burning Flag had been secretly planning the war between NATO and Chinese forces, as well as the launch of three ICBMs to be launched over China, the United States, the Middle East, and Europe.
The Burning Flag personnel wear black and gray uniforms. The faction, despite being an unofficial paramilitary group, is well equipped - their members use MEC weaponry, T-90 tanks and military-grade body armor and ballistic helmets.
