Dearest Arne,
Well the Germans took another teacher from the children's school away today. The girls say that Mister Sanden was marched out by German soldiers at play time, in front of everybody. I think the Germans wanted as many people as possible to see him being taken away, to try to scare people and the other teachers in particular.
I've told you before how the Germans want the teachers to teach their horrible ideas to the children, and how teachers are refusing. It really is remarkable. I'm not sure if I could be so brave, but thank the Lord for Mr Sanden and the others like him who are sticking to their guns at such a cost. Our children's school is not the only one either. I heard that almost all of the schools in the country have refused to teach the German ideology. It makes me very proud to be Norwegian! They cannot take us all, I have heard teachers say, but I fear that the Germans might.
I have just realised that this letter might give you silly ideas of your own. Please do not get any silly ideas. Just do what they ask you and come home to me and the girls safely. I just want us to get through all of this and be able to live our lives together.
All my love always
Inger
