The UMP-9, or Universale Maschinenpistole (English: Universal Machinepistol), 9mm, is a submachine gun developed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The design is largely the same as the UMP-45, though it is chambered for the lighter 9mm Para round, and with a curved standard magazine rather than a straight one.

Battlefield 4

The UMP-9 is a weapon set to appear in Battlefield 4. It was first seen in the killfeed of the Paracel Storm gameplay trailer as well as in the class selection screen.
