The US Navy SEALs (SEa, Air, Land) are the United States' principal naval special operations force. SEAL teams are trained and have been deployed in a wide variety of missions, including direct action and special reconnaissance operations, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, and other missions. Without exception, all SEALs are male members of the United States Navy.

Battlefield 2[]

In Battlefield 2: Special Forces, the US Navy SEALs are featured as a new faction included in the expansion pack.

The US Navy SEALs are a subdivision of the United States Navy which were deployed during the War of 2007 in a number of covert operations against the Middle Eastern Coalition Special Forces.

The SEALs' equipment and armaments are similar to the USMC, however they possess some more advanced technology, with the SCAR series rifles as their primary.

Weapons and Arsenal[]

As stated above, the SEALs' armament is very similar to the USMC in terms of weapons, some of which are more advanced (having access to a tier 2 weapons by default, as well as weapons mounted with optics). Appearance-wise, all the SEALs wear khaki fatigues with black body armor. Every class has a helmet with the exception of the Engineer, who has applied face-paint instead.

Special Forces

The SEALs use a nearly identical vehicle selection to the US Marine Corp with a few changes: The AH-1Z and DPV have been replaced with the Apache Longbow and AIL Raider in addition to neutral vehicles for Special Forces factions. In addition, they lack a transport chopper.
