Fans propose "Blackout" in protest.[]

No. "Blackout" is not the title for DLC or a new game. First proposed via Battlefieldo , the Blackout is a movement where the more dedicated fans will not be playing Battlefield 3 or any other Battlefield related game for a set amount of time, unless the problems with Battlefield 3 are fixed, or at the bare minimum, communitcation between DICE and their fans are better established and adressed. Here is part of Battlefield-O had to say:

"So....this is what we are going to do....as a community; we're going to give EA until Friday, March 2nd to announce the next major patch and the fixes that they have made, or are currently making SOME acknowledgement of the outcry about the issues that are currently wrong with this game[....] or we are going to blackout the entire Battlefield Community for 1 day. 24 hours. No playing. No posting. No tweeting. Silence fed right back into the mouths of those who have chosen to give us the very same silence. We'll be waiting for you to give us our community back EA, and put it in the very capable hands of the people who developed, and made the game"

This may seem a little extreme to some but it is, however, understandable that a little bit more communication is needed, that "open lines to DICE developers and managment" is what [we] want. However, Battlefield 3 still remains a fun, visually stunning and competent game regardless.
