RE: Flag of the Soviet Union from 1936-1955 for use in World War II articals.[edit source]

I already did it for you. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 00:03, July 7, 2020 (UTC)

RE: President of Russia, China and the US in 2020 in BF4[edit source]

Their names are not mentioned in game or any supplemental material, and it is unknown if they are the same people from real life. For this reason please do not add the names of real leaders to any articles related to Battlefield 3 or 4. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 17:18, July 7, 2020 (UTC)

RE: ‎BF4 withdrawal symptoms[edit source]

Unfortunately, I am not qualified to treat mental health issues. If you feel that these issues are severely affecting your quality of life, I can only recommend that you get in touch with local services/charities that specialise in autism or talking therapy, as they will be much better equipped to help you that I am. As for Australian server populations on the PS4, from what I can tell there are at present only a small number of servers (2-5) active during peak times. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 10:25, July 8, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Editing Guidance[edit source]

In any Battlefield game it can be difficult to determine the real life location of a map/mission. Any claim requires evidence to back it up, like in-game dialogue and text, MAV coordinates and visible landmarks. Otherwise it is just speculation, which is discouraged.

Single word edits to articles may be reverted when the changes do not improve the flow or informational value of the article. Changing all instances of "China" to "People's Republic of China" is an example of this.

RE: Hammer and sickle in emblem editor[edit source]

Development on BF4 ended over five years ago, and more recent Battlefield games do not have functionality for user created emblems, suggesting DICE is moving away from such systems. So I would say no, it is not likely. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 08:26, August 9, 2020 (UTC)

In several European countries the use of Communist symbols is restricted or banned. DICE was likely protecting themselves from legal action coming from said countries. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 10:05, August 9, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Korean People's Army on Propaganda and new weapons[edit source]

Development on BF4 has ceased. No new content is being made for it, or the three other newer Battlefield games that followed it. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 09:32, August 10, 2020 (UTC

Why aren't the French on Operation Metro? Or the Thai on Lumphini Garden? The Indonesians on Operation Outbreak? It's that it's not economical to make a whole new faction, with new voices, player models, vehicles and UI elements, and only have them available on one map. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 10:23, August 10, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Next Battlefield game: BF6 or BF4 Remaster[edit source]

I don't know what the next Battlefield will be. --FluoxetinePatch (talk) 11:03, August 10, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Glock 18[edit source]

You can look into BF:IRL for more detail why it remove. and if we talking about the appearance of the gun, we may need to mention how some cosmetic in Battlefield V will broke the gun (StG 44 for example). --Lamicrosz (talk) 13:06, September 28, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Illegal Glock 18 in BF4[edit source]

Hi. Nobody at the wiki is an actual developer for Battlefield, so I couldn't tell you why the G18 is olive drab by default in 4. To my understanding, Glock is notoriously difficult to work with as far as having their trademarks in video games, which is why every Glock model that has appeared in the series is named G18 or G17. EA would likely have legal trouble regarding the trademark if they used the name Glock. This could possibly have something to do with why it's an olive drab finish, that way it can be further separated from the IRL glock for legal purposes, but more than likely a designer at DICE just wanted it to be that color. They wouldn't get in trouble just for it appearing with that color in the game though, if that were the case Hardline would have caused a lot of trouble due to most of the weapons appearing in that game being in illegal configurations for civilians in the US. These are virtual guns, it's the same as drawing a picture of a olive drab Glock 18, you're not going to be hauled to court over it. Flat Urban would probably work fine if the color is bothering you that much.

This is not trivia that has an effect on the game, so please do not add this to the G18 page. I appreciate your interest in real life accuracy of the firearms in the games, but that information causes too much clutter on the pages and IMFDB exists for pointing such things out already. Also, I reverted your deletion of your message on FluoxetinePatch's talk page, we have policy here where discussions are never deleted, only archived, so please do not delete messages on other people's pages in the future. Have a good one.-Krylov FA-37.png Apprentice125(Talk)22:54, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
