The WZ551 is a 6x6 amphibious wheeled armored personnel carrier used by the People's Liberation Army and developed and built by Norinco. It is armed with a French 25mm GIAT cannon that was acquired through a deal between France and China. Another variant is armed with a single 12.7mm machine gun, called the WZ551a instead.
Battlefield 2
In Battlefield 2, the WZ551 is the Armored Personal Carrier (APC) used by the People's Liberation Army. Its counterparts are the USMC LAV-25 and the MEC BTR-90. It differs from both in that it has a slow rate of fire for its main cannon and it has only one rear facing fire port.
