Transfer of Power[]

The Mukhrovani Air Base in Georgia was set to be transferred to Pax Armata from NATO. However, the base hides a secret, Project Veles, a classified intelligence cloaking technology housed within the air base's servers, preventing any satellite detection. As Pax launches a surprise attack to cripple the remaining NATO forces, Marine Forces led by Gunnery Sergeant Dylan Murphy destroys the servers in order to destroy all intelligence related to Veles, but was ultimately unsuccessful due to Pax already getting said technology prior to detonation. However, only Murphy managed to survive the ambush, as his Tempest unit was wiped out after being outnumbered.

A Fractured Alliance[]

Following the hostile takeover of the Georgia air base, the Secretary-General of NATO has been assassinated, with Pax Armata claiming responsibility. NATO, however, did not respond to this, and later, twelve nations announced their departure from the alliance.

Incursions at Gibraltar[]

Pax Armata, in preparation for an invasion while under cover with Veles, launches surgical strikes in the Old Town district to test the strength of NATO, prior to occupying the Upper Town to secure a beachhead. In response to this, NATO launches an attack of the air defenses that were set up, bringing in British forces and Dagger 1-3 of the US Marine Raiders, who Murphy is now attached to, alongside his new team leader: Master Sergeant Haz Carter, and Staff Sergeants Cliff Lopez and Simone Espina. As they cripple the air defenses, an amphibious assault is carried out in the airport to retake the city, but cost the death of the British leader Sergeant McIntyre at the hands of Haz's former comrade during the Iranian offensive: Alexander Kincaid.

Night Raid and an Uprising[]

The capital of Egypt, Cairo, has been occupied by Pax Armata following a deal made by the Egyptian government, much to the chagrin of the civilian population, causing mass unrest. As Dagger is deployed to Cairo, assisted by Mul Ibrahim al-Khatib of the Egyptian military, they go through alleyways and dark corners to secure intel held by a biometrics expert Fayek Salim, who they reveal to be selling classified information from the CIA under Dagger's handler, Melissa Mills, to Pax Armata, which allowed them to get a hold of Project Veles. The Egyptians however suffer casualties due to Pax's attacks during the night while assisting in extracting Dagger.

Attack on New York City[]

Intel found in Salim's RFID-implanted thumb point to a sleeper cell operation by Pax in Brooklyn, New York, centered around the Dumbo district, which later activates following word of a summit by NATO held by President Fernandez of the United States. In response, NATO forces have been scrambled to prevent any incursions beyond the borough. Later that night, Dagger was summoned to Brooklyn to investigate this sleeper cell and gather intelligence, accompanied by Sierra and Quebec squads. They find out that they planted a mole onboard the warship, USS Artemis, stationed at the Hudson River, with a lockdown and arrests following this information.

To make this plan work, Kincaid, who leads the operation, brings in telemetry transmitters to connect with the Artemis' missile system to cause severe damage and divert the response to Brooklyn in order to clear the way to the summit. Pax was partially able to successfully fire a few missiles instead of its entire payload thanks to Carter, causing damage to the city, but was still able to intercept the Presidential convoy on the streets, causing massive casualties to the Presidential Counter Assault Team and the helicopter Marine One. Despite this, Dagger was able to assist in extracting the President from Brooklyn, but at the cost of losing Carter at the hands of Kincaid.

Following the successful extraction, President Fernandez announces the creation of a Global Response Force, targeting all Pax Armata stations around the world.

Egyptian Counteroffensive[]

The Egyptian military, led by al-Khatib, launches a counteroffensive to retake the capital of Egypt from Pax Armata through an armored attack on the highways leading to Cairo, and with the assistance of NATO forces, reaching the outskirts of the capital, and finally taking control of the city. In response, Pax launches a counterattack to relieve all remaining Pax forces still in the city under NATO occupation.

NATO Attack in Tajikistan[]

The Global Response Force launches an invasion of Tajikistan where Pax Armata is stationed. Dagger 1-3, now led by Murphy, disables all anti-air defenses prior to attacking a major airbase, destroying a large dam alongside it. The invasion force then focuses on stopping four hypersonic missiles from launching in the process, all which containing a chemical compound called NXC, with assistance from CIA operative Lucas Hemlock. They were able to stop all missiles, but one has detonated, releasing NXC and eliminating Sergeant Tighe and the Quebec squad entirely.

Dagger then enters the bunker of the airbase, eliminating Kincaid in the process. NATO then bombs the base completely, nearly killing Dagger 1-3 and Hemlock.

Meanwhile, NATO launches large scale operations to drive Pax away in the valleys of Ayni District to establish a foothold in the region, and later the Pamir Mountains, where a unit is stationed along the canyons.

Later, Dagger 1-3 infiltrates the home of Mills, where they come to the conclusion that Mills was involved with Pax Armata. She confirms that Pax Armata was an initiative by the CIA and other major "powers" that aimed to centralize anti-American groups under one identifiable enemy, and offers to try to recall what agents she has in the PMC. However, after terminating a Pax Armata squad who were attempting to enter Mills' home, Dylan Murphy personally executes Mills on the orders of Dagger 1-3's anonymous new handler.

California Resistance[]

After the invasion of Tajikistan, Pax Armata sleeper cells in Los Angeles, California are activated, targeting a recently reactivated NATO airfield in the oil derricks in the desert. President Fernandez declares martial law in Southern California in order to combat Pax Armata forces within the region. Militia groups, such as The 323 form to combat the Pax Armata uprising, collectively known as the California Resistance.
