Battlefield Vietnam[]

Wirecutters are a cut gadget which was intended to be included in Battlefield Vietnam. The item has animations and sounds, but lacks icons, and when "fired" produces a bundle of TNT, which cannot be detonated. The item can be "fired" five times.

It was added into the game in Battlefield Vietnam: Redux, and issued to the NVA's Engineer Kit 1.

In Battlefield Vietnam, it's used for planting explosives on vehicles and when someone enters that vehicle, the explosives go off, killing the enemy.
