In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the XM312 is a usable mounted/stationary weapon. It's power per bullet and rate of fire make it an excellent anti-infantry and anti-aircraft weapon, although when used for the latter role, players would do well to lead their targets. In spite of the weapon's high damage, it is ineffective at destroying sturdier parts of the environment such as metal fences, sandbags, and walls. The XM312 is also mounted on the HMMWV 4WD as the vehicle's main turret. The KORD is the Russian counterpart to the XM312; the two differ only visually.
